Go For It

Go For It, getting daring

November 8, 2016 by Mary

bib-5-cover-1Molly pushes herself, and Owen, too, with one last stunt their first night in Vegas. Thankfully, he’s a good sport about it!

Excerpt from Go For It

“Will you go skinny dipping with me, Owen?”

When that sweet voice asked him, Owen knew there wasn’t a damn thing he could say no to.

“Of course, Molly.”

He could see the apprehension in her eyes so he stripped his shirt first. She gasped when he tossed his shirt at her, then giggled. He kicked off his sneakers then pulled off his socks. With one last glance around, he stripped his shorts and boxers down in one swift movement.

“Are you sure you won’t sleep with me tonight?” Molly asked with a slow lick of her lips, her eyes locked on his package.

Owen chuckled and hardened. “Not unless you’re sober, Mol.”

“I’m definitely sober,” she argued. She surged to her feet and nearly fell over. “Or maybe not. Fine. You’re right, but we’re going skinny dipping. Right now.” She stepped closer to him and shoved, catching Owen off guard. He toppled backward into the pool at his heels, making a huge splash.

He came up sputtering and determined. “You better get your cute ass in here, Molly. Or I’ll toss you in wearing that sexy dress.”

“My sister would kill me.”

“Then take it off and join me. The water feels great,” he teased, splashing the cool water onto her feet.

Molly giggled again then slowly pulled her dress off. Owen knew she wasn’t trying to drive him insane, but she was. The slow strip tease was doing things to him that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to handle, especially since he couldn’t even go back to his room and jerk off. She’d be there, too. Making him even harder.

Go For It, release day

November 1, 2016 by Mary

bib-5-cover-1It’s here! I’m so excited to share Go For It with you! Molly was a sweet and innocent woman with a desire to be a little wild. She didn’t want to change herself, she just wanted to have a little fun. Fun Owen was more than happy to help her with. He made it his mission to ensure she completed her list, even if it wasn’t always how he intended!

Excerpt from Go For It

The music in the club throbbed through Owen, beating in tune with his heart and the pulse in his cock. There was no way Molly wouldn’t notice how badly he wanted her when they were dancing. If she did though, maybe they could check a few more items off her list.

They agreed that for her to feel like she’d actually dirty danced with a stranger, he couldn’t walk out with her. He had to approach her and dance with her. He watched her walk away, into the throng of people gyrating to the pounding bass and horrible dance music. Dance clubs were not Owen’s favorite place to be, but he was quickly becoming willing to do just about anything if it could bring a smile to Molly’s face.

Her mostly white dress appeared to glow in the black lights overhead. He followed her through the crowd, more than a few paces behind, and kept his eyes trained on her. She looked radiant with her hair plastered to her neck in sweaty rivulets. Her eyes were bright with excitement. Her hips swayed tantalizingly, mesmerizing him and making Owen want her even more.

If that was possible.

He’d learned there was a lot more to the quietly beautiful woman than met the eye. And with every new discovery, he ached to understand more of her.

Something that both terrified and invigorated him.

Just as he was about to reach her, Molly spun, her hips backing right into the waiting crotch of a man with a hunger in his eyes. She backed away, but his hand circled her waist and held her to him. Her eyes snapped open and landed on Owen, realization dawning that the man at her back was not him. The look quickly turned to fear, driving Owen into action.

He walked up to them and gave the other guy his best back-the-fuck-off look. The dill hole didn’t hesitate long before releasing Molly and blending back into the crowd. She fell into Owen’s arms, sinking against him with what he assumed was relief. He pulled her body tight to his and pressed his lips to her neck. “I’ve got you, Molly. You’re safe with me.”

She shook her head. “I don’t know what I was thinking when I made that list.”

“Don’t worry about that right now.” He leaned back and met her eyes, smiling at her. “You definitely checked off number two though.”

Molly stilled for a moment then burst out laughing. Owen laughed with her, dragging her body back to his and moving them both to the beat of the music. It didn’t take Molly long to get into it and dance with him. She spun in his arms and pressed her hot little ass into his crotch.

And he nearly fucking blew it.

Literally.

Go For It, a mission

October 25, 2016 by Mary

bib-5-cover-1When Molly joins her best friend in Vegas for her wedding, she decides to go a little wild for the weekend. She put away the good girl she’s always been, packed a suitcase of her sister’s sexy clothes, and set her mind to her mission.

Having fun.

Excerpt from Go For It

She glanced at the seat beside her and breathed a sigh. Owen had finally fallen asleep.

He was a nice guy, but Molly didn’t know him very well. When their friends, Jared and Erika, announced they were taking everyone to Vegas for the weekend to get married, Molly thought it was a joke. But Erika and Jared insisted. Her parents had saved money for their wedding, but they wanted to elope, so they gave Erika and Jared the cash. And they decided to use it to take their friends to Vegas with them.

Which gave Molly the opportunity she was starting to regret as she sat thousands of feet above the ground.

Why did she think their long weekend in Vegas was a chance for her to let loose and have fun? To be someone other than herself? What happened in Vegas, stayed in Vegas, right? That’s what she kept telling herself, but sitting on the plane, she was doubting her sanity.

She had a suitcase full of Allison’s clothes. She was sharing a room with the man next to her, a virtual stranger. And she had a list of crazy things she was determined to accomplish over her weekend.

And more doubts that she had room for in her luggage.

Molly pulled the list from the pocket of her mini-shorts. Allison’s mini-shorts. The ones that barely covered her ass when she was standing and sent a swift breeze headed right up her new thong, and her ass, when she bent over.

Why didn’t she try these things before she decided they were a good idea?

She didn’t have time to worry about all that anymore. She was in the shorts and on the plane and halfway to Vegas. When she got there she’d be fine. She wouldn’t worry about her ass hanging out. She’d just enjoy the day.

And the way Owen’s eyes darkened when they looked at her.

She glanced at her seat mate and soon-to-be roommate again. He was hot. Blonde hair that was a little too long, curling over his collar. Blue eyes, when they were open, that looked like the deepest of oceans. Built arms and legs that rippled with muscles. A broad chest and narrow waist.

He was sexy.

And she was spending the weekend in the same hotel room as him.

Molly really thought Erika was joking about that part, too. Jared’s old roommates, Ben and Mark, both had to work over the weekend and couldn’t get away for the wedding. Erika wasn’t really close to anyone besides Molly and Jenny. Jenny was coming, with her boyfriend, Logan. Logan was also a good friend of Jared’s and was standing up as his best man. But when it became just the six of them, Erika asked if Molly would be okay sharing a room with Owen.

She glanced back down at her list. Have a one night stand glared at her from the page. She nibbled her lip as she looked back at Owen again. He was sexy, but she wasn’t sure he’d be up for a one night stand.

At least not with her.

Molly shook her head and studied her list again. She knew making a list of things she wanted to do to be wild and crazy was counter to the whole idea, but she didn’t want to miss anything. Which was why she made a list.

1. One night stand.

2. Dirty dance with a stranger.

3. Sing karaoke.

4. Free drink from a guy.

5. Make out in public.

6. Go skinny dipping.

7. Strut the strip.

8. Get drunk.

9. Play a hand of poker.

10.

Molly took a deep breath. The blank spot next to number ten glared at her. She wanted her list to even out to ten crazy things. Things she’d never done. Things she never thought she’d do.

Things she always wanted to do.

Q&A Sunday: Something New

October 9, 2016 by Mary

I spent the day picking out pumpkins, riding in hay, and getting lost in corn today. It was a great day with my kids, parents, sister, brother-in-law, and niece. We all had fun, but it was chilly! Fall has definitely arrived!

While I was out, I realized I never posted today’s question! Oops!

Jeannie asked…

Are you always working on a story?

Ha! Yes, usually more than one!

I have more ideas than I have time and am always plotting something out.

Right now, I’m working on three different projects. Wanna hear about them?

bib-5-cover-1Go For It will be available November 1. I’m finalizing that one now so it’s ready for the release. I really like the story. Molly is sweet and unsure of herself. Owen is cocky and completely bowled over by Molly. It’s been a lot of fun watching them fall in love!

The other two I’m working on are just getting started. I’m not going to share much, but I’m so excited for them. I’m writing a brand new series that’ll be available in 2017. The first book will be offered as part of an anthology for three months with all the proceeds going to support March of Dimes. It’ll come out in February. The second book will be available in March.

The only thing I’ll tell you about the series is it’s set in a winery in the Finger Lakes, a region of New York known for its amazing wines. The first book is a prequel, set 15 years before the second book. I’ve been planning this series for a long time and am beyond excited to share it with you… soon!

Beyond those I am actively working on, I am always plotting. I’ve been thinking about the rest of the Big & Beautiful stories, and the series that’s going to come after that. I also have plans for another series that I’ll write beyond those and have started thinking about that one. I’m always planning, thinking, or writing at least one thing at a time!

Thanks so much, Jeannie, for your question! If you have a question, send me an email (mary (at) maryethompson (dot) com) with Q&A in the subject, or post it in the comments below, and I’ll answer your question right here on the blog!

Life is so much Better In Bed

September 23, 2016 by Mary

I’ve done a lot of skipping around this year with what I’ve released. Next year… well, next year will be a bit more logical. But for the last three months of 2016, I’m finishing up the Better In Bed series. We all know life is so much Better In Bed, right?

bib-1-cover-10If you haven’t read this series, I wanted to introduce it to you. It’s the first series I wrote, but it didn’t start out as a series. Cat’s story is first, Wait For It. Cat’s a virgin who feels like she’s waited so long to lose her virginity that her expectations can’t possibly add up to reality. She’s hesitant to sleep with just anyone and decides she’s waited that long, she’ll just wait until she’s married.

Enter Ryder. Sexy. Biker. Single dad. Yeah, he’s hot. She describes him as sex on a stick. Cat has trouble resisting Ryder. Ryder has trouble resisting Cat. For two people trying to figure out where their lives are headed, and if they’re headed there together, it’s a fun, easy read.

bib-2-cover-3The second book, Work For It, is Cat’s best friend, Lizzy. Lizzy is married, but thinks her husband, Aaron, might be cheating on her. There’s no romance left in their marriage. They barely speak to each other and when they do it’s about the kids. Lizzy feels unsettled and thinks Aaron doesn’t love her. So she does what any woman would do…

She sets out to change his mind and seduce him.

bib-3-cover-1Fight For It is the third book in the series. Jenny is Lizzy’s younger sister. She just graduated college and left her boyfriend there where he’s finishing grad school. Jenny is floundering, unsure where she’s going in life, like so many people just out of college. When she blows a tire on the side of the road, Logan comes to her rescue. In more ways that one.

These two dance around each other, back and forth as both try to figure out where things are going. The shit really hits the fan when Jenny’s boyfriend shows up.

bib-4-cover-3Play For It will be out October 4! Erika is hurt after a falling out with her best friend, Jared, who she happens to be in love with. Jared told her sleeping together was a mistake… the morning after… and Erika cuts ties. Three months later, she’s finally had enough and can’t resist when a sexy British guy wants to take her away.

Jared gets jealous and the two men play for the right to date Erika. Only Erika isn’t sure which one she wants to win!

Go For It is Molly’s story of uprooting her peaceful, boring life by marrying a guy she barely knows. Owen thinks Molly is the perfect woman to settle him down, but Molly thinks marrying Owen is just the craziness her life needs.

In Wish For It, Molly’s sister, Allison, takes Cole home with her after he’s too drunk to take care of himself. When Cole wakes up, he thinks Allison took advantage of him and insults her by offering her money to keep her quiet. Allison won’t take the bait and their game of cat and mouse begins.

The last book in the series is Drink For It. Heather avoided Luke’s since their one and only night together, but when she’s forced back, she can’t stay away from the man himself. Luke hasn’t been able to get Heather out of his mind, but when she walks back into his bar, he doesn’t want to let her out of his life again.

I hope you’ll check out all the series. These are shorter books that are quick, fun reads. They’re only going to be available in ebook version, but that helps me keep the prices down! Catch up on the series now before Play For It comes out October 4!
