I’m so excited that Finding Home is available now. I love this story. Adaline and Rosienna are two characters I loved creating. They are both soulful, loving women who are scared, just like we all are in a way. Once they open up to Blake and Hayden they find the love they’ve always dreamed of, and they find home.
Here’s a short excerpt from the book. Of course, the book is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble!
The hallway to the bathroom was small and long. Painted Subway green it felt even narrower than it was. The men’s bathroom was at the end of the hall with the women’s right before it. Hayden got about halfway down the hall when the women’s bathroom door opened. Rosienna and Adaline piled out.
Hayden had to rest his back flat against the wall to let the women pass. Adaline stepped past Hayden first, resting her hand on his chest gently as she passed him in the small hallway. She offered him a smile of gratitude and he nodded at her. Rosienna was on her heels, trying to brush past Hayden without touching him. Her arm grazed his tight abs and she gasped at the firmness of his rippled muscles. Her eyes flashed to his and she watched as his gaze heated up. Her stomach fluttered with awareness and desire.
Hayden’s body responded to her brief touch as he sucked in a breath. He saw the same need in Rosienna’s eyes that he felt in himself. It would be so easy to lean forward and seal his lips to hers, to press her against the wall and have his way with her. His lust ripped through his entire body as his eyes passed over her again.
In the car he forced himself to sleep to avoid looking at her. When he opened the door in the driveway he could tell she didn’t expect him there, but he was also instantly attracted to her all over again. When he climbed in the car he was glad for the cramped seat because it would restrict his blood flow and keep his body from responding to her tank top pulled tight over her large breasts. Her strong legs twisted around each other and he remembered the day he watched her run. Of course he pushed away the part about her running away from him.
Sleep was his only option when crammed next to her and ready to jump her. But now, he was wide awake, and so was his body. He moved closer to her, almost imperceptibly, but Rosienna noticed it. Her eyes grew wide and her tongue ran across her lips. She looked at his lips, wondering what it would feel like when he kissed her.
Rosienna and Hayden have some serious sexual tension, enough to choke on. Adaline and Blake are sweet and loving, but they have their own issues. Both couples make you fall in love with them, cheering right up until the end.
