I know I’ve been horrible this month about keeping up with this blog. I can only say I’m sorry! But I’m getting back to normal and trying to jump back in and do the things I want to keep you up to date with what’s going on.

“Can you hold two? Danica will love that. And I need one, too.”
“Oh, um, sure. Of course.”
“Good. And you’re going with me.”
“What?” she asked, laughing.
“You need to be my date. You can take an hour off to eat dinner, right?”
“Yeah, but—”
“Great. No arguing.”
“I thought we were just going to be friends.”
Zane laughed and reached for her hand. She stilled briefly, then eased and went with it. “We are friends. I’m just hoping I can wear you down between now and then.”
